What does a typical day look like?
At Wildwood Nature School, we’re lucky to to have our bespoke-designed indoor base at
St. Mary Brookfield Hall in Dartmouth Park NW5, as well as being able to go out to local green spaces for our outdoor learning.
We spend the whole day on Tuesdays at a beautiful enclosed space near Kenwood - The Old Orchard Garden - that’s not open to the public, and we can have fires, do pond dipping and other Forest School activities.
On the other days, the children spend half their day outdoors, visiting Hampstead Heath, the land around St Anne’s Church (at which we’re developing a vegetable and flower growing project) and a secret garden in Dartmouth Park.
A typical day at Wildwood Nature School varies from day to day. We keep an element of flexibility to allow us to be able to respond to what the children need each day, but below are examples of typical days at Wildwood.
