ACTIVE TRAVEL

Welcome to Wildwood Nature School’s Active Travel Page. we’re working towards our Bronze accreditation with TfL’s Travel for Life. We’ve been working hard all year to encourage our families to use more active travel for their journeys to school and educating the children about the benefits of active travel.

Below you’ll find some of the ways we’ve been doing this!

Our walking zone map

Please use this map to help you to PARK & STRIDE.

Everywhere in the GREEN zone is a 5 minute (400m) walk to the school.  All the roads in this zone have residential parking with no restrictions during drop-off and pick-up times.

Everywhere in the YELLOW zone is a 10 minute (800m) walk to the school.

Walk to School Week 2025

The 19-23 May 2025 is Walk to School Week! In collaboration with Living Streets, we’re encouraging all our families to walk to school, or to park and stride if that’s not possible. Children and teachers will be charting their progress all week!
